Interpol

Looks like this thing really took off today, very awesome. Before I shut down the old laptop for the night, I thought I would pass along a link to Interpol's new album Antics: you can click here for the MP3's. You should download a few of the songs, I'd suggest "Next Exit" or "Not Even Jail", and if you like what you here go buy the album. Also, they are playing March 10th up in Niagara Falls. Anyway, they're an awesome band, check them out and good night.

You guy's probably know this site already....

I just came across this site and thought it fit in pretty well with
the recent themes on our blog....

Dean's Planet

Pat, maybe you could buy something for Erica from here

Some gift ideas for your favorite liberal. I know Loftus will love this stuff

Since everyone is getting into the porn...

I thought I would share my favorite site for celebrity nudity.

You can even check out Fred Durst if you haven't seen him in all his glory yet. I know some of you guys will be into that.

Don and Mike

Best part of my day is going home (6-7pm) and listening to these guys. There is a 20 clip from every show (wish Stern would do this). It's a great site if you are a fan. That buzz's wife is a real hose-hound. Click here for Don and Mike's website.

Stern Show Downloads

Click here to get full Stern show downloads...

I messed the original link up, it is now fixed.

Although if you don't bittorrent yet, click here to get it, you'll need it to get to the site above. Thanks Terry, and blow me LANDO.

With the show coming up in a few weeks i thought this would be appropriate.

Mindless Websites

Some sites I have come across. Most of them I found off of: Thighs Wide Shut, which is a very wacky blog in and of it self. Some are funny, all of them strange, and all of them definitely do not contribute to society.
  • Men Who Look Like Kenny Rogers. No comment
  • Truth about Duke. This site is dedicated to bashing Duke, there are some great photos of Duke players acting like jackasses. Dickie V and Coach K are accused of having gay relations several times over.
  • John C. Reilly site. Someone felt the need to create a site with some pictures and strange comments of John C. Reilly, the actor best known for his role as Dirk Diggler's Porno sidekick Reed Rothchild. I'm pretty sure the gist of the site is to mock Mr. Reilly, although it is done in some very strange ways.
  • World Beard and Moustache Championships. Some sweet staches at this site.
  • A New York Escorts Confessions. Blog of a real life New York escort.
  • Great Urinal Site!. I posted this site a while back. This is THE site to go to if you're in the mood to see some urinals.
  • And now the grandaddy of all disturbing links I have come across...Guy who thinks he is a fairy. Enjoy.

Let me try that link again:

My first post......

Im pretty sure that you all know me as terry gaughans beer and sports loving good friend, so thats all ive got as far as an introduction. I just wanted to talk about the phenomeon of "crack beers" at sporting events. Why is it that I drink 3 or 4 of em during the course of a bandits game and all of a sudden I feel the need to tell the fat black usher lady that she looks like Alicia Keys. I've hear many theories about why you get so polluted while drinking em but Im narrowing it down to :1. Wax cups make the beer flat and you drink it faster and 2. The amount of C02 that is pumped into those draft beer lines fucks with your head ( is that even possible?)any other ideas?

You may have noticed the other template being messed up. So, for the time being I have changed to this much gayer template.

Adding Pictures

I'm back from San Diego, I stayed on the same block as Petco Park, which looked like an AWESOME stadium from the outside. Really gave me the baseball butterflied. Anyway, if you want to add photos to the Blog, download this app (see link above), it is very easy to use and has some cool features for sharing pictures.

You Betta Reco'nize

Dollar beers and shots of Patron

I'm hurting today.

Also, I was thinking....
Is there anything worse than shaking someone's hand and getting the
limp handshake in return?
Nothing makes me lose respect for a guy more quickly than that.

I love lapdances.

Remember that time when we played Beyond Balderdash and someone wrote
"Angel of Spartan lore" as a definition?
I think it was Mark Wright?

There's this woman who sits two cubes away from me, and she is such an annoying person.
She is married, and her husband works some job where gets off from work every Friday,
and every Friday, around 8am, she calls him, just so he can't sleep in.
I'm dead serious. She'll often say "I don't get to sleep in on Friday, so why should he?".
What a CUNT.

When I workout at the gym, I listen to my iPod.
When I'm on the treadmill, I walk, on incline, for most of the time,
and then I try to run for at least a few minutes at the end.
I always try to pick a specific song to pump me up just before I start to run,
and my recent favorite has been "Failing the Rohrshach Test" by MGB.

Okay, bye.

Tom Sizemore's Fake Penis

Entertainment News Article | Reuters.com

This guy is something else!

enjoy a chuckle

A Fun Question

What scene, from a normal Hollywood (R-rated or less) movie is the hottest/sexiest? Remember, no porn or B-movies....just regular ones, like you would find at Blockbuster.

I have two nominees:
-the first sex scene in Disclosure - I remember that being pretty hot, although I havent seen it in a long time

-the scene where Salma Hayek dances in From Dusk til Dawn - I saw this again recently and it was boner city!

Milestones

I rubbed a clown's nuts.
They were soft to the touch,
and he giggled the whole time.
He gave me his rubber nose as a souvenir.
I wear it sometimes when I'm lonely.
I wear it and think about the nut-rub.

Let's Go Buffalo

So another NFL season in the books, another playoff-less season for the Bills. Here are some thoughts on what the Bills need to do in the off season.

1. Cut Bledsoe. The Bills will never win a Superbowl with Drew Bledsoe as their QB, let alone win a playoff game. They need to cut him, save what they can on the cap, get JP Losman ready for next year and move on. JP will have his rough outings, but if he is the QB that they think will take them to the promised land then the start of 2005 is as good time as any to throw him in there.

2. Trade Henry for whatever you can get. If they can get a 3rd round pick for Travis then take it and don't look back. McGahee is a stud, and Shaud Williams is a good change of pace RB. There is no sense in having an unhappy Travis Henry on the roster.

3. Keep the defense intact. They have got to sign Pat Williams and keep the core of the defense together for 2005. If they are to make the playoffs it will be because of a strong defense.

4. Improve the offensive line. They will most like lose Jonas Jennings in Free Agency. Fine, let him go, he is hurt way to often, and will not be worth the money that teams are going to throw at him. Move Mike Williams over to left tackle, try and get a quality right tackle in free agency and think about drafting some O-Line depth. The Bills need to have a ball control power running game if they are going to do anything next year. It starts with the O-Line.

There you have it. Four things I think will help the Buffalo Bills for next year. Obviously it will be tough to win the AFC East with the Patriots looking down at us, but there is some serious talent on this team and the playoffs are the next step after a promising 2004.

The Tragically Hip

I was checking out http://hipbase.com/ and was looking at all the concerts the past ten years I've been to, here is the list, the dates, and some comments...

4-29-1995 Bflo Memorial Auditorium (10 friggin years ago when I first saw them!)
7-20-1995 Cayuga Speedway (out at the speedway....)
5-13-1996 Syracuse Landmark Theatre (good times)
7-13-1996 Edenfest (wow, a lot of great memories from this show)
8-17-1996 Cleveland Odeon (Maybe the best Hip show I have ever seen)
11-26-1996 Bflo Marine Midland Arena (Don't remember much about this show)
7-30-1997 Darien Lake (the infamous Mark Wright concert)
8-8-1998 Grape Jam (another great show, lots of memories, notably Loftus going bonkers after losing a watch, and the band walking off the stage because Kev Wright crashed through the fence)
2-10-1999 Bflo Marine Midland Arena (Don't remember anything about this one)
5-5-1999 Washington DC 9:30 Club (Lots of great memories from this show...almost killed myself at Lofty's apt afterwards when I smashed my head falling backwards, got the scar to always remember)
7-29-2000 Darien Lake (These Darien Lake shows are always great because you end up getting SMASHED at them)
10-2-2000 Rochester Auditorium Theatre (during this tour they were doing the "An Evening with the Hip" thing where they played two full sets....This was an awesome show at an awesome venue)
12-20-2000 Bflo HSBC Arena (They played "Last of the Unplucked Gems" at this one)
8-30-2002 Cleveland Odeon (I was sick for this show which really sucked, couldn't drink, the show was great though...)
9-1-2002 Darien Lake (remember this one well, it was a couple days after the Cleveland Show and I made up for not getting my drink on at that one)
9-6-2003 Molson Park (I was not drinking at this one I don't think because I had to drive back to Bflo, these shows are always much more fun when you're hammered)
7-23-2004 Darien Lake (concert where the above photo was taken)

17 shows, lots of killed brain cells and lots of great stories.

Superbowl XXXIX

My prediction:
New England 23
Philadelphia 20

I think it will be a very good game, but it will come down to Philadelphia not being able to stop Brady when it counts. He'll probably lead them into game winniing field goal range and Vinateri hits another one for the win. By the way, is Vinateri the most underated player of all time or what? I know he is a kicker and all, but has he EVER missed a field goal, I honestly can't remember him missing one in a game I have watched. Anyway, I really hope I am wrong and the Eagles win it. I seriously hate the Patriots more and more every day.

I have nothing else clever or witty to add today.

Rainbow Umbrella

I really like that song "Since U Been Gone" by Kelly Clarkson.

Does that make me gay?

Some New Reviews

Some new music I've purchased...

Damien Rice, "O" - 8+ out of 10.
This is an absolutely gorgeous album. It's fairly slow, but passionate and haunting. It's a great disc to put on, dim the lights, and cry your eyes out. I think this album came out in 2003, so I cant wait until he releases something new.

Snow Patrol, "Final Straw" - 8 out of 10.
Very, very solid, with a few standouts. It's the type of album that you can get into right away. It doesnt take more than one listen to "get" it. Very catchy and fun.

Bill Janovitz and Crown Victora, "Fireworks on TV" - 7 out of 10.
I could be actually underrating this cd just because it has a been a little overshadowed, for me, by the two albums I reviewed above. It is also very solid. If you like Buffalo Tom, you'll like this disc. It's great driving music.

That's it for now.

Internet is Shit

One of the geeks I work with sent this to me and some other people here at work. It got a few of the other geeks pretty upset.

Movies

Recently I signed up for Blockbuster Online, so I now have a constant stream of movies delivered to my house. It really is great, no driving to Blockbuster, looking around for 45 mins just to settle on renting some awful shit like "Laws of Attraction".
Here are some of the movies I have recently watched along with comments and ratings, using the tried and true method of 1-10.

Without further adieu:
"Alien Vs. Predator" = 6+
I must say when I realized that it was rated PG-13 I almost did not watch it, but it turned out to be exactly what I expected. No plot, bad actors, and everyone is killed by both the aliens and the predators, accept for the smart one in the beginning. Definitely served its purpose.

"Friday Night Lights" = 6
I was really disappointed in this. I guess I probably ruined it by reading the book, then expecting it to live up to the book, which it did not, of course. However, I heard that this was a pretty great movie and expected more than what I got...I thought the movie tried to capture the pressure on the coach and the players to be successful, but it never really captured how the town was absolutely obsessed with high school football. I guess I just missed it. Maybe I was just tired when I watched it.

"Napoleon Dynamite" = 8
Geoff highly recommended this and he was right on. HILARIOUS. Most of the movie, I was like what the FUCK, but that was the whole point. I will be purchasing the DVD.

"Troy" = 6+
2 pts for Orlando Bloom
2 pts for Eric Bana
2+ pts for Brad Pitt

I just had the blog spell checker learn the words, "fuck" and "shits". This is great.

New Rug

Sunday we go out to get a new rug for our living room. You seriously can not beat Mr 2nd's if you are looking for a cheap 8' by 10' rug for a living room. Anywho, we find a nice rug that matches our furniture and all is right in the world. So the rug is not even in place for more than 24 hrs when Erica comes home to find not one, not two, not three, not FOUR, but FIVE liquid diarrhea spots on the brand new fucking rug. That's right sports fans, the dog felt the need to take take 5 shits on the new rug. At least I did not have to clean up the mess.

Art's Lessons of Life

One time, I remember Art was telling a story about a man who lived
at one of his apartment buildings, and he said...
"David, the man is a pedophile. 'Pedo' meaning child, and 'phile' meaning LOVER."
