Last Day of 2005

The Sabres have 54 pts in 39 games this season and show absolutely NO SIGNS of slowing down. I mentioned the "Cup" back in early October as a joke, but I think making it deep into the playoffs and reaching the Finals is very possible. Ottawa is still the class of the NHL, they have blown the Sabres out of the water so far this year, but I think the Sabres can skate with them and get the goaltendinig to potentially pull out a seven game series. Plus Hasek will pull his groin sometime this year.

And here is the video of the tickle chair: Very Sexy!

I hope everyone has a very happy New Year, I'm looking very forward to closing out this year and giving my liver a little bit of a vacation (after one more night of getting shitcanned - of course). The holiday season as always has been very rough on me.

Best Jessica Alba Movie of '05

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. If you ate and drank as much as me the last few days I feel very sorry for you.

Jessica Alba playing a stripper = awesome

I was going to post my best movies of 2005, but I barely saw any movies this year. I did see Batman Returns and Sin City and both were very awesome. I also saw Crash which was very very good as well. But, that was about it. Those would be my top 3 movies of '05.

For a more complete list of movies from this year check out Roger Ebert's top 10 movies of 2005.

Best Music of 2005 and Rachel Bilson

Here is an iTunes playlist I just whipped up with some of the best albums, songs, and artists this past year. I'd have to go with Spoon's Gimmee Fiction as my record of the year followed closely by Broken Social Scene's self titled album. Both highly recommended, just as all the tunes above are.

I also need to recognize Rachel Bilson as "Babe of the Year" runner up. So Hot.

Stuff Your Stocking

with Week 16 winners right here! (36-24-1 season):

KC -1 over sandiego (just read KC is 16-0 in Dec at home since '96...if they lose, I am happy to lose the bet...I am NOT going against that stat).

HOUSTON +6 over jax
nyg +3 over WASH (can this be more than a field goal game???)

I don't necessarily like these next two picks, but don't we need something interesting to do this Sunday, December 25, 2005 other than spend quality time with our friends and families:

chicago -6 over GB (hope you bought this early in the week when it was 3)
minn -2 over BALTIMORE

For all of you degenerates who entered Bowl Game pools this year, I hope you enjoy California v BYU tonight and Houston v Kansas tomorrow. Suckers.

And finally, lets remember how sexy Jennifer Love Hewitt and, of course, Rick Majerus are. Merry Christmas.

Best of 2005

2005 is just about over, and I have decided to share with the rest of the world some of my "Best of 2005's".

For example I obviously spent a lot of time in 2005 posting pictures of Jessica Alba, and for that reason I would say that she was my "Babe of the Year". DUH.

I will also be making a few "Top 5 lists", such as "Top 5 Parties of 2005":
5. Fourth of July Weekend, good old fashioned summer time fun.
4. Bill's Season Opener, it seems like such a long time ago that the Bills were 1-0 and destined for an exciting season.
3. Fantasy Baseball Draft Day: always one of the best party days.
2. Penn State Weekend: this took place in January before FTIT was born, so I didn't post any pictures or write about it. An amazing time none-the-less. It included lots of drinking at college bars, live B.B. King, vomiting in broad day light into a garbage can on a very crowded street (not me of course), and NFL Divisional Playoffs. Good Times.
1. Fantasy Football Draft - Vegas Style: I don't have pictures of this because I left my camera in Vegas. But what could be better than 8 guys in Vegas for a Fantasy Football draft? Nothing.

So, come back in the coming days as I run down some more "Best Of /Top Stuff of 2005"

Groping

Now this is some great gossip. What a poon hound, that Matt Leinart. Good for him!

In news of the weird, someone out there is searching for: iced urinals. Weirdo.

F Jackie

Jessica Alba from behind. Thank You. (via)

KC Armstrong was on Stern yesterday and Jackie Martling was on this morning. Two of the all time great Stern show employee's. I really miss the insane KC stories and as much as I love Artie, I miss the Jokeman. All of the old Jackie moments they went through today were great. Hopefully both of them will be back around once in a while when they move over to Sirius. F Jackie.

The Good and Bad

The U2 show Friday was excellent, ten out of ten. Everything from the sound to the lights to the crowd to the 4 giant cold beers I sucked down were perfect. Great Great Time. Check out the setlist and notes here.

I know I promised no more Bills talk, but just when you think that it can't get any worse it gets worse. Today was an embarrassment. First time ever I've left early out of disgust. It's time to blow it up. Clean house, top to bottom. By the way the Moulds situation is really a mess, check this crap out. What a joke, Moulds is an ass and deserves any suspensions or fines he gets but this does not happen if the Bills brain trust had any clue of what they're doing. Terrible.

Not terrible is Rachel McAdams. She apparently won't be getting nude any time soon, but she has been nude before. Click here and scroll to bottom for the goods.

DENVER -14 over baltimore
houston +61/2 OVER tenn

road favorites scare me...

Walk On

Obviously the best rock band of my life time is U2. In fact it is not even close. If anyone disagrees with this they are wrong and can blow me. Now, I wouldn't say that they are as good as The Stones, or the Beatles, or Zeppelin. You could argue all day and night about the order but these three are obviously the best bands of all time. I would also say that U2 are on the downswing of their careers, this last album was good not great. But, no one can argue that in the 29 years I've been alive there has been a band as consistently good. Anyway, tomorrow night is U2 at HSBC Arena. This Super-Fan will be in attendance.

American Football

Bills fans needing a laugh should watch THIS. (via)
Seriously though, am I ever glad that I promised not to write another Bills related post this year. The rest of my sports related energies of 2005 will be focused on the Sabres (who won last night) and these sweet Buffalo Braves jerseys. Apparently the L.A. Clippers will be wearing these tonight. You can order me one for Christmas HERE. I always have been a big Corey Maggette fan.

Where to begin???

PG has requested 52 reasons why WGR sucks. That would be easy to do, but who has the time (well, I do). Here are 5 +2 reasons why WGR sucks, in no particular order:

(1) Not broadcasting NY Yankess games on Sundays in the summer in favor of NASCAR. That's ridiculous.

(2) While we are at it, "Garage Pass" - seriously, enough with the NASCAR.

(3) Chris "Bulldog" Parker...and Jeremy White too.

(4) The weekly spoon versus fork debate. This week the non-sports rant on the afternoon show was Bulldog discussing his favorite band, song, chord, and even note in music history. I debated driving into a telephone pole if that would destroy my radio.

(5) Constantly referring to the "web poll." Then breaking down the "pulse" of the City based on the 18 people who voted.

(6) Gary Puffpaff was ever allowed in the same studio as an open mic.

(7) Too many new guys on the air who have lived here for 1-2 years. Seriously, any of us could do a much better job.

However, WGR does have the UB/Niagara game on right now - which is something positive. UB up 32-27 at the half.

NFL: 4-0 last week suckers (28-20-1 on the year), tomorrow we like:

NYG -3 over dallas
PITTS -3 1/2 over cincy
jax -3 over CLEVELAND
INDY -15 over tenn ( I love picking Indy)..

Well, I guess that's all for tonight. Keep it sexy Buffalo. Check out Nick Lachey's Ohio State University girlfriend. Howard Stern is on 60 Minutes this Sunday - I wonder if he will talk about Sirius. Wax on, wax off. Good night.

God Bless, and Good Night

The Sabres sucked balls tonight, 5-0 against the San Jose Sharks. By the way it must really piss off Canadians that San Jose has a hockey franchise. On the bright side I had about 11 beers tonight. I also found some sexy new photos of April Scott, who is a sexy model. God bless the internet.

RED HOT!!!!!!

Five in a row, BITCHES! I'll be in attendance as they go for their sixth tomorrow night. And to think that there were asshole Sabre fans booing Marty Biron 2 weeks ago. He's been RIDICULOUS.

Can Bona Friar Post His 52 Reasons WGR Sucks?

While we wait for my sports crazed friend to compile his list, here are 52 reasons ESPN sucks. via deadspin

This is news that probably only my Dead Head former roommate Vito will appreciate. An upcoming eBay auction where you will be able to bid on Jerry Garcia's toilet along with other things from the last house he lived in. Link to items you'll be able to bid on. via stereogum

Speaking of The Dead I'll be going to see Phil Lesh and Friends at Shea's Saturday night with my aforementioned former Dead Head roommate and a couple other fans of live music and catching buzzes. Chris Robinson of The Black Crowes is the featured guest, if I remember any of the show I will give a full recap, promise.

The Sabres go for their 5th straight win tonight in Montreal. Barry Melrose even mentions them as the hottest team in hockey right now. This should obviously give our local sports talk show hosts some serious material to cover on the air, instead they were talking about the use of smiley faces in email as I drove home from work today. Please get on that list Bona Friar.

:)
