Manager's Corner

I was spending some time on the internet looking over the rosters in my Fun Boy League Fantasy Baseball league just now and I want to state right here that I love my team and I predict that the Buffalo Big Balls will be in contention of their first ever title. After a very disappointing season the BBB are prepared to do battle with a formidable offensive group that mixes both speed and power, and a deep pitching staff anchored by a top ace and top closer. A-Rod may not be the guy you want up with 2 on and 2 outs down 2 in the bottom of the ninth but you do want him in fantasy baseball because he puts up sick numbers always. I also have Hot Carl Crawford, Travis "Pronk" Hafner and NL Rookie of the Year - 2005, Ryan Howard. Rounding out the offense: Jason Varitek at catcher, Robinson Cano at 2B, Rafael Furcal at SS, Matt Holiday, Abrey Huff, and rookie Jeremy Hermedia in the OF. The pitching is solid with starters Roy Halladay, Barry Zito, John Lieber, Kevin Millwood, Chris Capuano and Jose Contreas. Joe Nathan will get me lots of saves. PLAY BALL!

For those of you who don't have Sirius and have not been listening to Stern you are really missing out. Fantastic radio. They went to a new level this week with the "squirting" girls.

For those of you who listen to a lot of music you should check out Last.fm. You can find my page here.

Hot Puck Action

Raise your hands Sabres fans if you predicted this in October, ESPN Power Rankings: Week 24. Sabres fans outnumbering Caps fans in Washington is not that surprising, the shout out to Duff's by ESPN is. I guess Duff's wings can be hot.

About a month to go till NHL playoffs, NCAA tournament starts tomorrow, and baseball is right around the corner. Let the good times roll!!!

Almost forgot, Leafs fans will be in town in full force tomorrow for the game. Chanting Go, Leafs, Go. Don't be intimidated.
