My Last Post This Year On The Bills...I Promise

Before I get into the depressing subject of the Bills, here is a nice photo of Rachel Bilson in a bippy shirt. Great. Ok, on to the Bills. Jerry Sullivan who has been hard on Donohoe since he got here five years ago pretty much sums up perfectly the current state of the Bills. They have become the Arizona Cardinals of the AFC. Ouch. Read the article, the truth hurts, Bills fans.

My pants do not fit (again)

Too Much Turkey

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Here's some PB&J Time from the Family Guy. Does anyone know where I can get a banana suit?

Turkey for you

This will be my last post until after the Holiday - I'll give my Sunday picks before kick off. However, lets see if we can improve on our 23-19-1 record with some Tukey Day specials:

Atlanta -3 over DETROIT, and
DALLAS +2 over Denver.

The Sabres retired Danny Gare's #18 tonight - I was very emotional watching the ceremony/highlites(blue & gold). Seriously.

The decision in the Terrell Owens case just came in: still a douch bag!

Can anyone else say they have been in the same room as Jm. J. Bullock??? Well, now I can after watching him star in "Hairspray" at a local Buffalo theatre last week. Big fan.

Finally, I know this will not give you perverts as much pleasure as sexy pictures, but please consider watching dead John Belushi's brother star in "According to Jim" - this show will make you laugh out loud. Thanks.

Long Winter Ahead

WGR was actually very good today. The "whiner line" made me laugh (people really hate Josh Reed - deservedly so) and Jerry Sullivan is not even playing the I told you so this team is bad card, he very easily could. Sullivan actually sounded like he felt bad for the loyal fans of Buffalo because the product on the field has been nothing but mediocre for the past 5 years, and by the way, it will probably get worse before it gets better...Anyway, I think the local media in a weird way is bored constantly criticizing the Bills, how fun can it be talking about how bad something is all the time?

And now some rare NBA talk on FTIT. I am officially on the Cleveland Cavs / LeBron James bandwagon. Here is a Great quote on LeBron:
'He's not 20 years old. No way. I'm going to have to see a birth certificate or something.' -- Antawn Jamison, on LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers - from Sports Guy's website
I'd have to agree with Mr. Jamison, LeBron has been ridiculously awesome and the Cavs are 8-2. HE IS 20!?!?!

Back to Buffalo sports for a second. In my pissed off state this morning I mentioned the Sabres as winning 2 in a row, they have actually won 3 in a row. They also have some very winable games coming up to close out November. This town really needs the Sabres to make a playoff appearance. Going deep into the playoffs could help also. Schedule @ 550.

More JA in cable knit sweaters helps too:

More @ jmazone

Finally I would like to remind everyone that that the busy holiday season is kicking off. You all know that means lots of Holiday party's to attend and that means lots of alcohol to drink. So, take my advice, drink lots of water for hydration, eat lots of food which will be plenty available at holiday parties for the most part - for a base, and most importantly enjoy it. The Holiday Season is suppose to be very fun and January and February are very cold (in BFLO) and everyone likes to stay inside.

Bills = Suck

Does anyone else feel like selling their remaining season tickets? Embarrassing loss. I actually stopped watching after the 3rd quarter in favor of Wayne's World 2. It is time to get rid of Donohoe. This team is no better off than it was 5 years ago when he came in. He passed on coaches like Marvin Lewis and John Fox for Gregg Williams. And he never made a play for Charlie Weis when he could have a few years ago. He has never addressed the offensive line. His drafts have not been all that great (Mike Williams is an enormous bust). And who knows if JP is the future or not, his offensive line is so bad and the coaching staff is so inept that he will probably be run out of town in two years.

At least the Sabres have won two in a row. Yippee.

And at least Jessica Alba looks very hot in a cable knit sweater:

NFL Sunday

Gotta love it...haven't looked forward to a Bills game like this since the first week of the season. Should be interesting to see how JP plays - I don't have very high hopes, but if he comes up big and someone pulls out a win the Bills are VERY much in play-off contention. LT will likely be too much to handle.

2-2 last week (21-17-1 season - still quite respectable):

indy -4 1/2 over CINCY
carolina -2 1/2 over CHICAGO
DENVER -12 1/2 over nyjets
NEW ENGLAND -10 over new orleans

Another reason to hate Talan

Is this guy really going to be spending Rod Stewarts money??? I wonder if he has ever heard those pesky rumors about his future father-in-law.

Try, Try Again

that's what I say to the FCC - not in their pursuit of Howard mind you, but as they follow up with complaints against our local sports talk bozos...like this FCC complaint filed against Bauerle and the Bulldog a few years ago. I actually like Bauerle...but the bulldog is a bumbling joke. Thank you.

I really miss Jackie the Jokeman...his website is a bit busy, true, but he was really, really good. I heard him yank Coach Dickerson a couple of times too.

Weekend's here, have a can of beer

Quickly now, 2-3 last week (19-15-1 season), go:

CAROLINA -9 over ny jets
washington -1 over TB
INDY -17 1/2 over houston
sanfran +13 over CHICAGO

Well, the Stern Show on terrestrial radio is winding down. As a major fan for several years I have taken to turning the show off when Howard goes on and on about the FCC, etc. HOWEVER, I believe big things are coming to satellite radio...and the Stern Show itself, I believe, will not be the program lending the most entertainment. I believe that Stern is an innovator, but that his best talent now is creating new and fresh shows. I expect the 3 (or whatever it is) channels to have hidden gems somewhere in them that will bring us the most laughs...Howard is a middle-aged man who literally makes over 100,000,000 a year, and his model girlfriend, who he left his wife and 3 kids for, is half is age...but she doesn't care about the $$$. Anyway, I'm going to purchase SIRIUS for the Howard 100 channels and the sports talk, thank you.

Despite the Buffalo News (and Krisep Creme) endorsing him, we are pleased to report Gary Pufpaff is a loser again...and the constituents of District 1 breathe a sigh of relief.

Maybe we should all start watching Smallville.

Thank you.

Plastic MGD Bottles

Did anyone else know that Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock were at Sub Zero Nite Club last Friday? How come I hear these things a week later? In all seriousness it does sadden me that our former favorite watering hole, The Reservoir, is no more. Worse yet it is a "Nite Club" I will never ever set foot in (unless Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock return, of course). Anyway, if you would like to see more photos of the two hit wonders in action visit the site that consistently brings the "Buzz" in Buffalo's Nite Life, Buffalo Barfly! Back to the Reservoir, lots and lots of good times were had and lots and lots of brain cells were lost at the ol' Reservoir. Sure it was in a basement and there were usually 6 guys for every girl, but where else could you knock on the door at 4:30am be let in AND be served a cold plastic bottle of Miller Genuine Draft (the champagne of beers)? No where.

She certainly would not be caught dead at Sub Zero, but maybe, just maybe would see what the Reservoir was all about.

I've Got Some Free Love...

...On The Freelove Freeway
via fgeoff99

My Brother on how excited he is on this weeks Bills game against Kansas City:
"I can't wait. I've been shockingly sober the past few Sundays. I don't even know how to handle a Monday morning without a hangover anymore. It feels so foreign to me. As for food, I would definitely be in the mood for some hot wings. Those are always a hit, and I love going through the afternoon with hot sauce all over my face. Just a suggestion."
Even though the Bills suck the tailgate will always be fun.

Good News

Great news for people who print out sports articles at work grab them off the printer stuff them in their pocket and then head to the men's room for 15 minutes after lunch. Chuck Klosterman now has a monthly column on espn's page 2. Highly recommended.

Just Spectacular

I just ran into the blonde Rachel McAdams, and WOW is all I can say. I am an enormous fan.

So, the Buff News must have been checking out the old FTIT last week and saw my comments on the Bill NEEDING TO START JP!!!! Actually Mark Gaughan sums up the whole situation very nicely in his column yesterday. Buffalo News - Bills dilemma: J.P. now or J.P. later. There is absolutely positively no way in HELL the Bills sniff the Super Bowl anytime soon and especially not with Kelly Holcomb at QB. JP is our best shot and he has got to get lots of playing time before he is playing in the Bowl. The Super Bowl is the goal, is it not Bills fans?

And speaking of football cheerleaders having sex. Panthers Cheeleaders having sex.

Is That Usher?

My NEW favorite picture found on the internet right HERE. Until I find the next sexy picture of Jessica Alba, of course. Via usemycomputer which has been THE GO TO for me lately.

Bills Bye Week

means we don't have to watch them suck...so lets lose some money! Last week 2-2 (season: 17-12-1) - that's still up for the year. Picks have to go in early this week. Shake it up:

san diego -6 over NYJ
KC -4 1/2 over oakland
atlanta -2 over MIAMI
GB +6 over pittsburgh
indy -3 1/2 over NE

Wow, lots of picks (ie, lots of losers). We like WASH if TO is out, but that will not be a formal pick this week (like anyone cares). If these picks do not bring you pleasure hopefully a playful, sexy picture of Elisha Cuthbert and Jeff Probst who crouches behind homeplate awaiting the pitch will make you happy.

Blow At High Dough

Clever bathroom design, eh fellas. (via my most greek friend)

The new Tragically Hip Box Set Hipeponymous (what ever that means) is out today. Buy it here. Speaking of The Hip could this mean the end for one of my all time favorite bands ever? And I don't mean end as in they they will never put out another record, I am sure they have two or three left in them. I mean will they ever put out another bad-ass record? Phantom Power was truly their last record in which really was above an 8 (using the 8 out of 10 scale, obviously). In fact I don't know if I would put any of their last 3 albums higher than a 7, you are allowed to give .5's in the scale I have traditionally used, or 7 "plusses" if you are Geoff. Anyway, I would give 5 Hip album an 8 or above.
1. Fully Completely 9+ (best ever, no doubt)
2. Phantom Power 9
3. Day For Night 8+
4. Up To Here 8
5. Trouble At the Henhouse 8

I would also give Live Between Us an 8+ but it is a live album and does not count. So, back to the question, does the band who I have seen live 17 times have another "8 or above" record in them?

Mark Gaughan runs down how GOD-AWFUL the Bills offense has been this year in today's Buffalo News. Very depressing read. Can we please give the ball back to JP Losman and shoot for next year? PLEASE?! There is no way the Bills go to the playoffs - let alone win the AFC East. I am the most optimistic Bills fan in the world but they have MAJOR problems on offense and defense. It is time to let JP learn like the Giants let Eli Manning learn last year. Speaking of next year, I am officially giving Donohoe next year to get to the playoffs - if no playoffs next year I say buh-bye Tom Donohoe.

At least Paris Hilton knows how to dress for Halloween.
