So in the past week we've had:

• the Bills blunder there way through another loss
• the Irish Curse won the 2005 FBL championship
• the Yankees are AGAIN AL East champions and the baseball playoffs are in full swing
• hockey is back and the Sabres are 1-0 (can anyone say STANLEY CUP!!!!)
• Katie Holmes is apparently pregnant with Tom Cruise's child
• Holcomb is starting over Losman this week against the Fish

I do think the Sabres will be very good this year. If the NHL sticks to the new rules, and there are over 20 penalties called in a game because of hooking and grabbing etc., I think this team, which is mostly together from the past year - unlike most teams in the league - could do some serious damage.
